The Exposure of Tom King – Emirates

Great bit of work from Lean Mean Fighting Machine for Dubai airline Emirates, promoting a new non-stop flight from Dubai to L.A, the home of the movies.  A film trailer’s been shot for a new big budget blockbuster – but since some bright spark accidentally forgot to include any people in the frame, us commonfolk get to battle to star in it instead via the magic of webcam!  Hilarity bound to ensue should enough people get behind it, and with a proper hollywood casting director making the final role calls, it could get catty.

Either way this is extra fun for me, since after placing with lean mean for a couple of weeks earlier in the year, now I get to enjoy watching them all acting their little hearts out as pilotfish.  Joy!

That sheep is reading a PAPER.  This is just good ol’ fashioned fun – and you can’t help but love that they’ve used a multi-racial cast of sheep for that added PC edge.

Inamo, Soho

Interesting new concept restaurant that’s opening in Soho – the entire menu is projected down onto the tables from above, allowing customers to view the dishes they’re ordering on virtual plates before placing their order, as well as changing the table’s pattern and colouring to reflect their own tastes, access local information about the surrounding area, order taxis or play games while they wait.

Menu’s a bit artsyfart but not as horrifically expensive as you might think for something this ‘new’ – so I may well check it out if I get the cahonies for something a bit more exciting than a Subway!
