A talk from a suit
Dropped in on a lecture put on for the advertising planning course late yesterday, and despite the turnoffs of not getting the usual fun spiel from a creative with a colourful shirt and nifty haircut I actually came out of it with a solid 45 minutes worth of dissertation gold – which, best of all, was captivating. My notes are on the other side of the room and my memory’s too embarrassingly poor to give any details, but suffice to say there was a lesson learned in judging books by their job description.
AIS
Yesterday saw the third big workshop of battle-for-mentoring fortnight, with Sarah & Gary of AIS. No wallet-rape for this one since they came to us (which was nice), but the pace of the work was a tough little bugger, with just about 3 hours to run out a storm of stuff for the Skoda ‘Suberb’.
Turned out to be a good day after Sarah and I drove straight into an idea and got pretty happy with it pretty quickly – but with that little time nothing was worth shouting about, though it was a great exercise in finger pulloutage!
